Titouan Castryck, Male Competition Paddler of the Year – 2025 Paddlers Awards Winners
For our first year presenting the Competition Paddler of the Year Award, we are fired up to announce Titouan Castryck as the 2025 winner in the male category.
Titouan is simply unstoppable; some say he’s walking on water. At only twenty-one, the Paris 2024 silver medalist slalom paddler delivered one of the strongest competitive seasons in modern slalom history. He opened the year with two silver medals at the European Championships in Paris, followed it with a K1 world title at the U23 Championships in July, then stepped onto the senior stage and struck gold again at the World Championships in Penrith, Australia. And his World Cup season was equally sharp, with four medals that included three gold, one bronze and a fourth place, securing the overall K1 title with the highest World Cup points across all categories.
The Competition Paddler of the Year Award recognizes the very best in the competitive side of our sport across all disciplines. With a season defined by consistency and incredible racing, Titouan has done exactly that.
