With You – REDirect Explore 2016
While our outdoor pursuits are often an escape from reality, we inevitably bring our work and past experiences along for the ride. ‘With You’ centers around whitewater kayaker, Pat Keller as he enters his enchanted wonderland before kayaking a set of Class V rapids… blindfolded, facing his worst fears and confronting his demons. It is not easy to encounter that which hurts you, and let it go, but it is essential. By accepting the loss of his friend and bringing experience with him on the river, he gets closer to some truth. Now he can follow his dreams, overcome obstacles and ultimately become the person of his own choosing. And yes, he did really kayak these rapids blindfolded – four times!
