After years of waiting, Dane Jackson finally got his chance to take on the iconic drops of the Santo Domingo in 2023. Known for its massive, committing sequence, the river hadn’t seen a descent in over a decade—making this mission all the more special.
With water levels sitting at medium to high, conditions weren’t perfect, but they were good enough to make it happen. And the result? An absolutely epic day on one of whitewater kayaking’s most insane runs.
