Dam Threat – The Story of the Puesco River Valley

The South American Country of Chile is one the World’s most unique and diverse countries. The citizens are some of the happiest and most grateful, despite large scale natural disasters and foreign development. Paillalco is the story of the Puesco River Valley and the local Mapuche people’s fight against government and foreign projects. There fight to protect there homelands from deforestation and there rivers from Hydroelectric projects. We tell the story straight from the people who depend of there connections with the natural environments, and the flowing of there rivers as much as the water itself.
