RiverFest Hometown Throwdown, Columbus Ga
Check out this awesome footage of Columbus, Georgia’s Hometown Throwdown during their annual RiverFest event. The cool thing about this whitewater course? Upstream power plants control the water release, during the day 800-1,000 cfs are released to offer a mild whitewater experience and most afternoons 13,000 cfs are pumped out to juice the rapids and give an adrenaline rush of that of a Grand Canyon size Class V rapid. #RiverCityRush #UrbanBigWater
