REEL WORLD Vol.8 – #35 Nathan Anderson (USA)
Follow US paddler Nathan Anderson throughout 2023 with his entry into REEL WORLD Vol.8!
« Here are some of my favorite moments of 2023. I had an amazing time on and off the river checking out new places and making new friends. I continued to step up and now paddle Class IV/V regularly. I got to check off some higher-end runs I’ve been wanting to do such as Gragg Prong, Oh Be Joyful, Daisy, and East Fork Tuckasegee (Panthertown). I gained more experience paddling big slides and running bigger waterfalls. I was also able to reach some of my higher-end goals such as paddling the Great Falls of the Potomac and being able to race down the falls. I also ran Gorilla for the first time on the Green River Narrows and then got things dialled in for my first-ever Green Race. I even was invited onto Dagger Kayaks Ambassador Team, which has always been a dream come true for me :). Overall, I paddled 162 days (148 days on the river and 14 Flatwater/Lake Sessions) I’m happy I got out on the water and got to check out a bunch of new places. I look forward to 2024 :). »
