« My name is Mateo Kowalczyk and I’m a 16 year old kayaker out of Boise, Idaho. Looking back at my year, I am stoked with my improvements/accomplishments on and off the water. I am so stoked to have been able to kayak all over the world! I got to paddle many new rivers out East, out West, over seas, and South of the equator! I want to say thank you to all my friends, coaches, and teammates. My parents who have always supported me in my paddling lifestyle! I also wanted to shout out my sponsor Jackson Kayak!!
