« I’ve been thinking a lot about home lately, I think after many years paddling my hometown rivers, the feeling when I kayak has evolved into something much more meaningful to me. Besides trying to flow with the river as much as possible, I’m also aware of the ecosystem that the rivers helds around me. Fish, birds, the forest, different kinds of insects and animals, and ourselves, depend 100% on these amazing bodies of water. Pucon and its rivers have shaped me as a kayaker and person, and I am forever grateful to call these watersheds my home. I think we as kayaker have a huge responsibility to protect and maintain these places pristine and beautiful as they are. »
