Outdoormix 2015 May 7th to 10th, WhiteWater Grand Prix Qualifier for Europe

For its 3rd edition and the the third time, Kayak Session is the proud media partner of the 2015 Outdoormix festival. This is also the 3rd year that the Outdoor mix is the WhiteWater Grand Prix Qualifier for Europe. Paddlers from France, Spain, Holland, Italy and Czech Republic are already confirmed to this unmissable event powering a crazy “Ride & Party” program an spirit for all Outdoor sports communities. So if you dream to one day paddle at the Whitewater Grand Prix, it is a unique chance to give it a try!

The snow pack this year is still big in high altitudes and is only starting to melt. Waterlevels are rising… which guarantees big water conditions for the next Outdoormix Festival in 3 weeks. For 2015, the Outdoormix kayak manager, Raphaël Thiebaut, has selected the most famous and the strongest lines from the French Alps. The brand new section of the program: Triple Chute on the Guil River. It will be the place where the racers will get on for the boater cross and the sprint prelims. The 10 best paddlers at sprint prelims will access to the finals on the extended section: Millenium-Triple Chute. There will be some hot action!

The event is also open to freestylers and non-competing kayakers who just want to enjoy the Festival and the area. The wave is really located next to the event village and the organization offers a special “accompanying person” pass for the non-competing people so every paddler can enjoy the same campsite, barbecues and parties with the community.
