The 2021 Sweet Protection Short Film of the Year Awards was the biggest yet, meaning aspiring and established filmmakers will need to get creative for 2022! Congratulations to Fever Pine Collective (Canada), for winning Best 2021 Short Film of the year with their film, Kerosene. Origen, by Gonzalo Robert (Chile) took second place. South Island Trip, by Zack Mutton (New Zealand), tied for third with A Kind of Happiness, by Loic Baillard (Italy). The Short Film Awards have become a milestone for filmmakers and producers worldwide, garnering viewers from lovers of kayaking, movies, action, and the outdoors.
