Malabar Spashdown (India)

Every year the weeks preceding and following the Malabar River Festival, some of the participants, are taking advantage of the endless possibilities for whitewater kayaking in the Indian state of Kerala (where the festival takes place and said to be the wettest state in India),   to check out the area and generally have a blast. Here is their story.  All rivers are in south India, between northern Kerala (Chalipuzha, Iruvanjipuzha, Kuruvampuzha and Kadantharapuzha) and southern Karnataka (Kutyalpolle).
