Jordan Run (WV)
Jordan Run (aka running man, aka air jordan, aka spirit of the east) is one of West Virginia’s most sought after gems. It takes a good water level and a solid crew. This is the highest decent making eddying out above the falls pretty difficult. Any higher and you’d be forced to run the falls blind, scouting and portaging the falls are extremely difficult regardless. Know that there is a nasty pocket in the river left landing, and the drop regularly collects wood, as it did this day. Be carefully and get after it!!!
