Humla Karnali, A Difficult Goodbye
A story of our small Czech team on an expedition to Humla Karnali river in western Nepal. A gigantic hydropower is about to be built here, and it’s no secret I do not consider this a way to go. This video is partly sports video, partly narrative emotional compilation. Its the way it is, we went there to learn about a river and life around that is an experience disappearing even in these remote regions as « civilisation » makes its way pretty much anywhere, but surprisingly, we learned more about ourselves, about our love to the river, the fears we have, the motivations that keep us moving.
