First Descent – Rivière aux Tortue, Québec (Canada)
About 100 kilometers East of the city of Sept-Iles in Québec, Canada, lies the small watershed of the Tortue River. Before its waters reach the gulf of Saint-Laurence, 95 km later, they run through practically untouched boreal forest and multiple canyons including an amazing section of class 4 / 4+ whitewater. This is our full-length video documenting its first descent.
