Dante’s Inferno Waterfall (South Africa)
This is without a doubt one of my whitewater kayaking highlights! The first time I saw a video of the waterfall on the Elands River aptly named Dante’s Inferno it was on my kayaking bucket list! After a stellar weekend of paddling on the Sabie River, and a crazy night at Tanks Bush Pub, there were’nt too many of us left standing. Philip Claasens and myself however made our way down to the Elands River nonetheless. Big thanks to Philip for talking me through everything! And a big thanks to Celliers Kruger & Fluid Kayaks for the awesome Bazooka, deck & prototype paddle.
