Creeking into the Local Golf Course
Follow David Kissane, Marty Smith, Adam Mayo and Jordan Troiani having a dual sport day last spring on Fish Creek in steamboat springs. They put on with golf clubs in the back of our boats and creeked our way down onto the local golf course with cigars in our dry bags and played three holes of golf before getting back in and paddling to the takeout. The final standings were Adam in first, David second, Marty in third and Jordan in fourth. Beautiful weather and good flows made for a perfect afternoon. David goes: « I’d like to make it an annual event and combine creek race times with golf scores »!
