Follow the British Universities Kayaking Expedition (BUKE) Team of 2022 on their expedition through the vast and rugged Island of Borneo in Southeast Asia! The strong team compromised of Pretam Gurung, Jonah Morgan, Barra Liddy, Aaron White, Piers Oliphant and Matt Stephenson spent 6 weeks exploring the unexplored area known to locals as ‘Seribu Riam’ translating to ‘A thousand rapids. The team bagged 6 first descents on a variety of styles of rivers – huge volume, joy filled fun classics, and steep creeks.
