After the competition, Adrian joined forces with Ramsey, a local Chinese kayaker, who made sure the crew had a good time throughout the visit and helped them get on the local whitewater.
The tour gave Adrian a first look at the paddling potential in that part of China, and the takeaway was clear: It is a promising area for kayaking!
