This is the reason to practice kayaking switch. Â Sometimes you just have to commit to go switch instead of turning back around. In this case, I severely underestimated the amount of left push when seal launching into Landbridge on the Toxaway. I didn’t expect the rock shelf to grab me so hard through the wave but once sideways, I had to make a decision. I finished swinging it around backwards and finished it switch… It’s not how I planned it, but it worked!
