The ultra committing Panther creek gorge on the Upper middle Kaweah had only seen 4 descents until this spring. Led by Darin Mcquoid we were able to get 3 successful descents on this classic piece of whitewater. The run starts by hiking 3 miles along a good trail up the river and descending a few hundred feet down into the gorge at panther creek, the gorge remains locked in for the next three miles.
