Friday, August 21st, 2026
The 20th edition of the Devils Extreme Race gets underway with an afternoon of free kayaking from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., giving paddlers a chance to warm up and familiarize themselves with the course. Registration and bib pickup run from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., followed by the mandatory race meeting at 7:00 p.m. The evening then shifts into party mode with concerts from Offbeat Society and Move Breakers, plus DJ sets. The traditional Midnight Express trains will bring you back to your camp if you’re staying somewhere else along the river.
Saturday, August 22nd, 2026
Saturday is championship day. You can paddle freely on the river throughout the day, except during the finals. Racing starts with the European Championship Qualification at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Championship Final at 1:00 p.m., where the 2026 title will be decided. Later, teams take on the popular Dam to Dam Race from Lipno Dam to Čertova stěna. The evening will be epic with the Winners (and Losers) Party, award ceremony, athlete raffle, live music, and the legendary arm wrestling contest.

The weekend wraps up with more free kayaking and a focus on fun. The Kids Race takes place at 10:00 a.m., joined by the new Baraka Race, bringing a relaxed and family-friendly close to three days of racing, paddling, and festivities on one of Europe’s classic whitewater venues.
