2014 Nashville World Kayak Plateau Games Schedule

The 2014 Nashville World Kayak Plateau Games is a four part monthly event series that stretches from January till April. The Plateau Games focuses on bringing friendly competition to our budding whitewater community here in middle Tennessee, USA. The Cumberland Plateau exists across part of mid-eastern TN, and provides some world class whitewater that is of a style its own. So, being a plateau means a flat top and sheer sides. The water on the top has to go somewhere, so it’s been running off the sides for millions of years, creating some of the most breathtaking canyons, rapids, and cliffs imaginable. Our series focuses on the beauty, that is the Cumberland Plateau.

The Clear Creek Cup – January 25th 2014 at 9:30am (EST). This event will host freestyle and Boater X events.

The Big South Fork Grand Prix – February 22nd 2014 at 10am (EST). This event hosts an 8-Ball Race and freestyle

The Spring Creek Classic (Muddy Rivers Festival) March 21-23, 2014 This is a weekend-long music festival that hosts a disc golf tourney, boater x race, freestyle, SUP race. Free prize giveaway including new Jackson kayak.

The Rock Island Open April 11-13. includes Friday night « Freestyle Under the Lights » photography project till midnight. Saturday and Sunday – Huckfest, freestyle, boater x, downriver freestyle

At each event we give away free prizes. at last event we give trophies to the winners of series and raffle off a free Gopro to attendees of all four events only.
