Chencholin Waterfall (Entry #9 Superstyling 2025)

The Chencholin Waterfall sits high on the Rio Oro in the southern part of Veracruz, where the river winds through the lush country of Los Tuxtlas. Paddlers know the drop for its shallow landing and the sharp rocks that wait if you miss the line.

Earlier this year, Victor Luis Maza Galvan returned for the second descent. The Rio Oro only comes into shape after seasonal rains, and the window for a runnable level is brief. Victor caught it at its best and committed to the drop.
