Upper Humla Karnali, Nepal
This past Spring, Aniol Serrasolses, Todd Wells, Surjan Tamang and Mikel Sarasola, paddled the Upper Humla Karnali in Nepal. This edit is Mikel Sarasola’s perspective on the whole mission, shot from the bow of his boat… The Upper Humla Karnali is located in the Far West of Nepal, one of the most remote areas of the Himalayas. Due to the difficulties to get to the sources of the river very few paddlers ventured out there. Even though it had a first descent two decades ago, some gorges were left un-paddled and untouched.
