The Phantom is the latest high-performance model to join the ranks of the Mamba, The Green Boat and the Nomad, and has already won numerous short boat class podiums even before its launch. The Phantom stays high-and-dry on the water, yet still carries its speed through holes and away from drops, and achieves the perfect balance of tracking and maneuverability with the ability to rapidly change direction when on edge. The volume of the Phantom has been optimized for both performance and fit with sizing that can accommodate various paddler heights and sizes.

The Phantom was also designed with safety in mind. Dagger’s use of higher density, stiffer and impact resistant plastic is the first of many attributes that focus on the paddler’s safety. In addition, the Phantom includes a step-out wall that adds structure to the boat and facilitates an emergency exit in the event of being pinned. The bulkhead style footbrace prevents entrapment and works together with the double-walled seat to act as shock absorbers for your lower body during big drops. Finally, the Phantom includes 5 grab handle locations that can be used for safety clip-in points during rescue.
