Upper Creek, North Carolina (Usa)

Upper Creek might be one of the hardest missions currently open in North Carolina. The River drops ~2600 feet in 7.8 miles. Throughout that reach the creek meanders through several gorges and builds to the finale. The Ravens Cliff gorge requires a challenging portage and exits through a must run rapid. All of these factors combine make this creek one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever paddled or shared with other people. Enjoy!
