Super cool short edit of the Tree Trunk Gorge on the Tongariro River, just South of Taupo off the Desert road in New Zealand is a Unique place. To enter the gorge a crux rapid with a huge tree has to be paddled or a 6 meter seal launch lands you right above the first 40 footer. Straight following that is another 8meter drop to exit the gorge.
