Chute du Serpent (Entry #19 Short Film of the Year awards 2022)
After hearing about it from a Kent fisherman friend, we couldn’t resist going to find it. To do so, we went to the GPS point following the directions. What we didn’t know was that we would come across Camp Club Gatineau on our way to the falls, a heavenly place in the heart of zec Petawaga, on the water’s edge of the Gatineau River. Kevin the owner of the camp showed us the way to get to the falls, and after following his advice we arrived in front of one of our most beautiful discoveries to date: The Serpent Falls. We returned a few times to see Kevin dreaming of the fall, despite the cold and long winter we had had. Finally, spring came and the ice gave way, which allowed us to finally consider our project.
