PALM & PYRANHA PARK JAM 2025: UK TOUR WRAPS AS EYES TURN TO 2026
The Palm & Pyranha Park Jam has wrapped its 2025 UK circuit after an explosive two weeks of paddling with the community. Following a sell-out opener in Hohenlimburg, Germany, the crew traveled from England to Wales to Scotland before finishing on a high at Tees Barrage and Cardiff International White Water. The mission remained clear throughout: return to the parks where so many paddlers began and create sessions that spark the next generation.
After the dust settled, we caught up with the Palm and Pyranha crew – tired, happy, and already talking about what’s next.
Palm team paddler Andy ‘Chips’ Kettlewell spoke about the atmosphere at Teesside: “We were blown away by how many paddlers turned up of all ages and abilities… The short course hasn’t run in around six years, so for the staff to reopen it for Park Jam was incredible. It ended up being a continual mega-train of shredders for 45 minutes.”

New Palm Grom Maite Luz, joining the tour from Chile for the first time, reflected on the experience of connecting with new paddlers: “Being able to meet a lot of new people from all around the UK and make new friends is so sick.”
For freestyle paddler and Pyranha team member Becky Green, joining Park Jam felt like returning to her roots: “I love how Park Jam appreciates where many of us began… being a part of this team and continuing the #ClassJoy legacy grows my love for this sport and its community.”

Adrian Mattern emphasized how the original intention behind Park Jam still drives it today: “I’m so proud to see Park Jam still carrying its original intention – get people together, go kayaking, and have fun… It’s about the spirit, for the love of the sport, and seeing people come out for that fills me with pride.”

From behind the scenes, Pyranha’s Mathew Wilkinson reflected on the tour’s impact over time: “Kids who first came years ago are now teens and using it as a milestone… Without a doubt, Park Jam is the project I care for most and the greatest pleasure of my career to be part of.”

Palm’s Janice Lo, who has led the tour since 2017, highlighted the long-term progression: “Some of the kids from day one are now young adults, and the progression has been incredible to watch… I’m excited to see how much we can grow Park Jam over the next few years, taking it to more venues across Europe, and beyond.”

Closing out, Palm Brand Manager Cheesy reflected on the original vision he shared with Bren Orton: “The idea was a paddling-style skate tour of organised chaos – something for the next generation, where young paddlers would leave so stoked they wouldn’t stop talking about it… The team making this happen now are all a massive credit to kayaking and should be immensely proud.”
Park Jam 2025 finishes on a high, but momentum is only building. Dates for the 2026 tour will be released early next year, with additional European stops planned. Clubs, paddlers, parents, and groms should be ready – when the Park Jam truck rolls back in, you’ll want to be on the water.
For riders. For shredders. For groms.
