Collins Reservoir: First Descent (Entry #41 Short Film of the Year Awards 2019)
A brief outing on an unexpected day off in early May (after a lot of rain) lead to an epic first descent. Collins Reservoir is a privately owned lake just outside of Brownsville, California. The Spillway is an Evel Knievel affair, kicking up at the end where one must clear about 30 feet of bedrock. And boy howdy was it cleared!
