Burnt Ranch Gorge on the Trinity River (Ca)
The Burnt Ranch Gorge on the Trinity River is a true classic in California. From steep committing gorges, to big rapids, and some fantastic scenery, it’s a run that every boater should take a trip to. This trip to the gorge was a really special one for me because I got to show two friends down this run at one of my favorite flows, and we were blessed to see some massive bald eagles and a bear in the canyon. The ranch is a special place.
