Sigue La Veta II « Curacautin Huckfest »

Curacautín, which means « Gathering Stone » in Mapudungun, is a commune and city in the Chilean province of Malleco. Curacautín is located 90 kilometres northeast of Temuco, in a valley near the volcanoes Tolhuaca, Lonquimay and Llaima, all of which can be seen from the city.
« When the sun finally decided to show up, we knew it was the time to go and paddle. That is how we loaded Yerba Mate’s van with boats, cameras and the best of energies and we head toward Curacautin; north of Pucon and home of two incredible waterfalls on the Rio Blanco Sur and Rio Captren.
What followed was a day full of energy and buena onda, and a bunch of kayakers going down this two gems of mother nature. »
