New Products @ Paddle Expo 2013 – Double Dutch Semi Core Concept (Full Carbon Blade)
At the Paddle Expo, Double Dutch will introduce their latest novelty, the Semi Core concept: A full carbon blade with a foam core and hardwearing edges.
‘It is a perfect mix that that contains the rigidity and weight of the foam core blade, combined with the hardwearing edges and the ease of cutting through the water of a classic pre-preg carbon blade. Beside that it is very smooth looking.’ – says Sander van Kuijl, the owner of Double Dutch.
The Semi-Core is perfectly designed for white water kayaking and freestyle.
‘Finally I have a paddle that is extremely stiff and reliable on extreme waters’ – says Sven Joos, Double Dutch pro rider.
The Semi Core concept will be applied to the premium designs of the touring and white water paddles, which will be exposed at Paddle Expo next week.
Double Dutch has been producing paddles since 1979. Throughout the years they have brought many new things into canoeing. The gold medal winner Daniele Molmenti at the Olympic Games of 2012 in London, proved that Double Dutch is still an established brand in the high-end competitive paddle sports market.
