Liquid Europe – (Kayak Session Short Film of the Year Awards 2013 – Entry# 33)
This year started straight away with some of my favourite runs in Europe. After a cold winter in Germany where we had toured a number of classic runs we were eager to look for great rivers at the very beginning of spring. Corsica appeared to be a great target as it offered perfect water levels and great weather in April. Corsica turned out to be a perfect start into a typical European paddle season. “Liquid Europe” proved to be a great target as it provided me/us with some of my/our favourite runs. I’ve been lucky to paddle some of my favourites together with my friends. As much as I’ve enjoyed these rivers I hope you are looking forward to visiting some of them, too. I’m sure you will enjoy these “vibes” as much as I did.
