»2012 Pyranha JED
Here's a look at the Pyranha JED. This will be the first playboat for Pyranha designed by Robert Pearson. If you know Robert you know this is going to be good! I know this sounds repetitive, but the JED is hands down the loosest, fastest boat I have ever paddled! My first reaction after paddling the JED was,..."man I cannot believe that playboats can continue to get so much better". So sick!! The footage is from the Nile river in Uganda. Most of what you see is from the Nile special wave with a few shots from other rapids on the Nile.

»2011 Easter Corsica Kayak Sessions
This is a video recap of the 2011 Easter Corsica Kayak Sessions festival that took place mid april this year. The Corsica Kayak Sessions just ended and it was a major success. Although the water levels could have been higher, a record crowd (over 650 paddlers on the island, and maybe more!), non-stop 7 days of blue bird skies, and long nights around the campfire made for a great week again this year. A big plus was the possibility to still paddle both the Codi and Rizzaneze rivers, which had the best water levels. Folks from over 16 countries made the trip for what is becoming the annual early season rendezvous for creekers of all levels. Start planning now to join us in 2012! More info on apddling in corsica? »Middle Fuy: La Despedida
Watch Team Siphon accompanied by Papa Garcia roll down to the Huilo Huilo Canyon of the Rio Fuy. This late summer classic is about 2 hours south of Pucon and only runs at extreme low flows. The highlight is an un-portagable 20+ foot seal launch into a 50 foot falls. Along with that comes an abundance of class IV-V making it one of our favorite in the country. Enjoy the video from the last good day of boating from our 10-11 season in Chile.
»ORANGE 2011
The orange river recently in flood peaked at 5600 cumecs. Waiting for the level to drop for a month, we timed our first descent on a channel that is dry at normal flows. The channel starts with 3 kilometres of flat moving water through riverine thorn bush, it then descends a cataract with a possibility of running the first 2 drops, the rest is syphon city. A short moving pool lines up the river to descend over Big Bang falls(temporary name). It is stout with an entry slide through a raging kicker diagonal and then a plunge into a shallow sand filled pool. It is a goer for sure. Put your name on it.

Dipper Creek, British Columbia. Dipper is one of the most beautiful and committing places I have ever been. I spent two full weekends here in early October filming.
Dipper Creek is a magical place.

»Great Falls ( Ice) Whitewater Kayaking
Great Falls is a set of advanced waterfalls and rapids located on the Potomac River, near Washington, DC. We headed up to Great Falls on January 22nd. It was 21 degrees F° ( minus 5C°), and freezing from the start. After one run of Maryland lines and a swim, we decided that we were done for the day. And chilled to the bone. Then we found ice, and lots of it. Two hours of fun ensued...

»First descent of the Bruresløret waterfall
In summer 2010. After a few cool, little drops and slides we stopped at the Bruresløret waterfall. A quick look over the lip and it was clear to me that despite the ideal water level it was a definat no-go. It would have require enormous precision paddling to hit the right line. - Something like opening a beer bottle with your bow in free-fall! - While I was still pondering over even better comparisons, Matze stood up and said, I\'m going. After a short hesitation, I ran of to portage the falls on the left and to get into position with my camera on the opposite side of the valley. Matze had just come back from an intensive hucking session in Iceland and was in great shape, he simply hucked the shit world class! But please, judge for yourself.

We're putting on a freestyle kayaking display at the London Boat show between the 12th and 16th of January.
As part of this we needed to test out the cable tow and ramp system we'd be using in the big indoor pool. For this we were asked to come to a lake in Abersoch NorthWales.
Before we set off we were told it was just a little icy around the edges. We arrived to find it completely frozen, but 3 inches of ice didn't stop a bunch of desperate whitewater deprived kayakers from getting on the water and a little in the air!
