11th INTERNATIONAL KAYAK FILM FESTIVAL
Father of the SICKLINE movies Olaf Obsommer from Nussdorf, Bavaria, invites you to the premiere of the 11. international kayak film festival. The evenings programme of movies will help to motivate kayakers for the up and coming season, planning journeys, expeditions and secret projects all over the world.People with an interest in the wonderful world ofkayaking will get a direct view in to this fantastic sport.
During the past 11 years the festival has witnessed some of Europe's and the World's most talanted and enthusiastic kayakers. Highlights will be the World premiere of a new movie from Tao Berman and Eric Link.
The American Xtreme kayaker and 3 times world record holder, Berman is the most popular kayaker in the world, quoted (Sports Illustrated magazine) Tao is coming to Rosenheim film festival to introduce Pulse, his new movie and is ready for your questions!
Other shows that will be shown are someas "Holli Whitewater Batman's" TOP GRADE from Russia. Justine Curgenven from UK will be showing her sea kayaking movie from Charlotte Island in B.C. Canada. Simon Tapley and Ali Marshell will be showing their movie from their recent adventures in Greenland this past summer. Ali and Simon are coming as well.
Newcomers are welcome to show their own movies in Rosenheim. This years guest of honour is Hans Memminger the kayaking legend and 16mm movie maker.
Hans will present a movie about the first Topolino race from the old days.
This four hour programme is guaranteed to be full of action, fun and adrenalin.
