Grand Canyon of the Stikine – 2013

The ultimate pilgrimage for any whitewater kayaker…drive north twenty hours through Western British Columbia to the Stewart-Cassiar hiway, veer right, drive another eight hours, and arrive at the big metal bridge crossing over the Stikine River. What lies below this steal passage is known as one of the world’s most remote and dangerous river canyons. The Grand Canyon of the Stikine holds miles of endless erupting class five whitewater and once you enter into the gorge there is no turning back. This is the story of a group of seven misfits making the annual pilgrimage to the darkest corner of B.C.

Paddlers: Louis Gelman, Kyle Hull, Ryan Lucas, Jared Seiler, Erik Johnson, Jamuel Griffith, Evan Garcia
