Episode#4: « Good thing we brought a rope »
Success at Rio Hoyo del Aire gives the team a boost of confidence as they go into their first descent of the Rio Cajones. The group’s sureness quickly fades when the river shows its strength and forces the team to rappel into an unexpected river basin.
In November 2013, an international group of paddlers set out for a three-week exploratory expedition into one of Mexico’s wildest backcountries. Despite being plagued by drug war violence, the whitewater potential in Michoacan will have kayakers soon returning to La Tierra Caliente.
