Devils Extreme Race 2013
As every year the end of summer helds in Czech republic on the Moldau river Devils streams plenty of whitewater races and one of them is traditionaly the Devils Extreme Race! This year’s event is planned for the weekend from 30th August to 1st September. We prepared a lot of news for competitors and visitors.
The number of competitors is limited to 50, so if you want to have your registration, you should be fast. The main category is K1M and in the case of interest also K1W (minimally 10 women registered). C1 and junior category are not open, but it is no problem to try it in the men’s category.
We secured an enormous prize money of 2000 € this year.
The race course is new for all disciplines. There will be a qualification sprint from Loucovice weir to the Bloody Fingers rapid (finish is above this beast). This race course is class IV+. The Top 16 competitors from qualification will have attend the final head to head competition on the biggest rapid of Devils Streams – Schody (class V). We hope it will be more enjoyable for competitors and more attractive for audience.

Friday
14.00 to 18.00 free training and riding
17.00 to 23.00 registration
20.00 race meeting
Saturday
10.00 – meeting on the qualification course
14:00 head to head – 16 best from qualification (200m of class 5)
22.00 ceremony, handing over prize money, winners party
Sunday
8.00 to 17.00 free riding (team race in case of interest)
