Demshitz on Curtain Call Falls, Alberta (Exploding Rocks)
Not the tallest drop we ran this summer but probably the craziest. I was originally going to boof it but Dave talked me out of it because it’s still pretty tall to land flat off. So I stuck to rule number 4 of Demshitz life (Dave is always right) plugged the drop and nailed the bottom of the river. Rule number 22 (sometimes, Dave is wrong). After seeing me pitton Fusilli sent a beautiful 45er but got rejected by the boil and pelted by rocks… Hopefully this is the first and last drop we run that has rocks exploding out of the bottom of it.
